4 pin to 3 pin 5v Cable

With this adapter cable, common 3-pin power cables, such as those from fans or CPU coolers, can be connected directly to the power supply (4-pin) instead of to the mainboard as usual.

This special cable allows you to run a fan on 5 volts instead of 12 volts as most fans don't have their own controller. The reduction leads to a quieter running noise and thus contributes to reducing the overall volume in the housing.

It should be noted that due to the reduced rotational speed of the fan, the air flow rate is also correspondingly lower.
